Julie and Kevin, unfortunately, had to change their venue midway through planning their big day. But what could have been a setback became something unexpectedly perfect, as they settled on The Old Bridge in Huntingdon.

With its intimate room for the service, a space to the side for an evening party and private bar, it offered everything they needed. Yet the true highlight was the small courtyard overlooking the river complete with BBQ facilities and enough space for everyone to gather comfortably.

Bathed in wonderful sunshine (the kind that seems to appear at exactly the right moment), the courtyard became the heart of the celebration. Guests enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere, sharing food fresh from the BBQ and sipping free-flowing cocktails as the day drifted into evening.

There was laughter, music, and that easy sense of togetherness, only briefly paused for a gentle walk along the river before the celebrations continued long into the night.
