If you’ve never visited Barten Hall and Spa, it’s definitely worth experiencing whether for the facilities, the food, or the drinks. The UK has plenty of places like this, but this one truly stands out. It’s not just beautiful; everything comes together perfectly with exceptional service and incredible food. What better setting could there be for a wedding?
The ceremony takes place in The Orangery. If you’re not familiar with one, it’s essentially a grand, elegant greenhouse originally built between the 17th and 19th centuries to grow citrus trees, particularly oranges, in colder climates (hence the name). Barton Hall’s Orangery is a beautiful example of these often impressive structures. With its stunning domed glass roof and floor-to-ceiling windows, it’s filled with exceptional natural light, creating a seamless indoor-outdoor atmosphere.
Georgia and Marshal held their ceremony in this breathtaking space, surrounded by friends and family. Although the October morning outside was bright but typically blustery, inside it felt like a perfect summer’s day. With emotions running high, they exchanged their vows before heading to the function room for an incredible wedding breakfast, heartfelt speeches, and evening celebrations that carried on late into the night.
